Elizabethan England – by Joyce Marques Luz Women are treated almost in the same way along the years are passing through. The woman normally is humiliated, treated as nothing, treated as slaves for men in society, and do not having the same rights as them. We are like a trash for most of them. Women sometimes are their's property, subservient to them, for making their wishes and desires without complaining or denying. In sometimes, the woman is totally submissive even more and do things that actually she did not want to. The worst thing is that when they do not do these things, they are radically punished for it, holding on and swallowing every pain and obligation. In the Elizabethan England epoch, it was not different, women were dependent on men, had to marry someone that they did not want to, just to make alliances with powerful families and please their parents.
